THE CLIENT
Stephanie Fowler is a talented artist specializing in watercolor. She has worked with companies such as Chanel, Holt Renfrew, Shinepr & Saks Fifth Avenue.
When she is not painting, Stephanie trains in Capoeira.
PROCESS
This site was designed in Adobe XD and built on WordPress using the Divi Template.
We took inspiration from her many works of art available for purchase on Etsy.
Clean, simple & light; were all elements we tried to capture in the finished product. We wanted the work to be the focal point here. Incorporating video banners in the site added a visual appeal - where end users could see her process and witness the art go from an idea to a tangible piece of work - as well as showcase some past events that she has illustrated live.
PHOTOGRAPHY
We had a wonderful shoot day at The Devonian Gardens in downtown Calgary for the headshots featured on the about page as well as some of the video banners featured throughout the site.
TAKEAWAY
It is always refreshing to collaborate with someone who understands their brand well. It makes the process more fluid with less change orders. :)
